If you’re looking for not just one perfect Havanese but two perfect Havanese, we would like to introduce you to Tucker and Tessa.
Tucker is a five-year-old with a beautiful coat of silver, white, black, with just a bit of tan in the mix. He is a healthy 16 pounds, and has this incredible long tail that wags every time you talk to him. Tessa is also a happy five-year-old that is all princess - and, she’s a beautiful sable color.
Tessa needs to lose a little bit of weight - she has about four pounds to work off, but both dogs are in great health. Tessa and Tucker are doing some walking, and lots of playing with the three resident Havs and two human foster brothers outside Philadelphia.
Tucker and Tessa have been together all their lives and at this point their foster mom thinks they need to be adopted as a pair. They are very attached to each other and will follow each other all over the house and outside, will lie together and are literally joined at the hip at bedtime. Although, they are emotionally and physically close, that does not preclude them from attaching to their humans.
Tessa and Tucker LOVE the 12- and 7-year-old boys in the house, so a family with children that can respect, love, and play with Tessa and Tucker would be perfect. Tessa will place a toy in her mouth and follow the boys all over the house until they play. Tucker will immediately roll over for belly rubs. As long as you have the time to rub his belly he will be your best friend! 
Tessa and Tucker are crate-trained and will sleep in their crate at night, however, both have tried to wiggle their way in the boys' beds and will follow them to bed and protest when they have to leave. (Their foster home is keeping them in their crate at night just in case their new owners prefer this practice.)
They are both house-trained, listen to commands, and are just truly the sweetest, most loving dogs. Tessa will give you kiss after kiss if you ask for it, Tucker is a little more reserved with his kisses and will only give them after you’ve worked for it. They love to dart out into the backyard and run around chasing the birds, other dogs, or each other, so a family with a fenced-in yard would be ideal. They love to spend time just exploring and enjoying the sun.
Their foster family says that the special family that is the perfect match for Tessa and Tucker will know within one day of adoption that they have hit the jackpot with this incredible pair!
