Mighty Max is a two-year-old, 10-pound ball of fun! He responds perfectly to a whole list of commands, has very good manners, loves going for walks and heels on leash. If you’re looking for a playmate for your small size dog, Max will fit the ticket; he thinks he’s in heaven when he’s playing with the other dogs in the house or yard.
Max grew up on a farm, and is used to horses, ducks, cats and other dogs. He really loved riding in the wheelbarrow. Now that he has been in HRI foster care, he has been citified too, if you put a purse on the floor, Max will jump right in to go shopping or run errands with you.
Max gets along with everyone, including children - both young and old. He might be a little shy with men but will warm up with time. He is now cuddling with his foster dad, but prefers sitting with his foster mom who knows just where he likes to be scratched. He loves to curl up next to his foster mom in bed and follows her whenever he can, a true velcro Havanese.
Max is working on his house training and when kept on a schedule and taken outdoors regularly, he’s been progressing nicely. Like most Havanese he will bark when someone comes to the door, but quickly settles down.
Mighty Max will be a great find for who ever adopts him!
