*Adopted* This is Adventure, she is a one year old chocolate & white purebred havanese. She is being fostered in Vermont.
This little bundle of fluff has lots of energy and loves to play, but she also has a sweeter side and likes to be near her caretaker and receive lots of belly rubs. Adventure can be shy at first and quickly warms up & bonds with her family, she really loves kids, and the company of other playful dogs. She is learning many great obedience commands at her foster home and she needs someone to keep up the training, not only is it great bonding time, but she loves it, and listens very well. She is completely house broken, and not prone to accidents unless you are going to leave her alone all day. She adores going for rides in the car.
Adventure has many fun quirks, and a very silly personality. But she is also a very loyal companion, who likes nothing better than to curl up by your side, or at your feet in bed at night. Adventure has a mild case of Chondrodysplasia which is a hereditary disease in Havanese, her two front legs have a slight bow to them and she takes Cosequin (A glucosamine supplement) as preventative maintenance. This does not stop this girl at all, she runs faster, jumps higher, and plays harder than any of the other 6 dogs she is living with right now.
Ideally Adventure should be in a home that has no cats, and the owner has experience with dogs. A fenced in yard is preferable.
She really likes having other dogs around too. She enjoys being brushed and has a very cottony coat and needs to be brushed often otherwise she will tangle. if you are prepared to buy her lots and lots of toys, treats, and will spoil her to pieces then she will be the perfect companion for you!
