Sophie is a year old and as sweet, gentle and mellow as can be. She came from a busy, 3-child home with a working mother. There just wasn't enough time for her so she was surrendered to HRI. During her vet evaluations while in foster care, liver problems were discovered. After several lab tests and an ultrasound, Sophie was seen by Dr. Center at Cornell.
Sophie will need special care and support throughout her life. She has responded extremely well to medication and her dietary changes suggested after her liver biopsy and evaluation with Dr. Center.
Sophie's sweet nature has continued to be her trademark. This little girl is as dear as they come.
