Sophie is very affectionate and loves to snuggle in her person’s lap. Her energy level is moderate.
She does well on walks as well as just hanging out. She doesn’t like loud noises and sometimes gets carsick; her anti-nausea medication works well to help her relax when given before a car ride.
Sophie gets along well with cats, dogs, men, women, considerate and kind children, over 10.
This adorable girl would be a great dog for a senior.
Sophie is currently in foster care in Washington State.
If you're already smitten, feel free to complete an application; however, please be aware that our dogs must be in their foster homes for a minimum of two weeks for evaluation. This is for their benefit and yours to help ensure a successful placement in a permanent home.
A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any. A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
