ADOPTED!
Duffy is a shy dog, learning to trust people and wanting to be near. He came to rescue with very little socialization or care. He was one of 6 dogs surrendered to a small shelter which contacted HRI for help. His coat is badly matted. He will need extra care in grooming. We'll be updating photos after his haircut.
Though he appears to have had no experience with many things, Duffy is fascinated by the noises and sights in a family home. He's getting more comfortable moving about. He thinks the backyard is just wonderful and is just starting to realize there's something special about dog toys. We have hopes he'll learn to play with them soon!
Duffy is staying dry and clean in his crate and the x-pen. His house training will continue. So far he's doing quite well. Duffy stepped into a whole new world when he came to HRI. We look forward to the day he is more confident in getting the love and attention he so deserves.
Duffy is fostered in Washington state.
