Marty is 20 months old and at the time of his surrender he had not been touched by human hands for months. He was a true "wild child", having experienced trauma earlier in his life that caused him to mistrust humans, and to run from them.
Tender care and love by his foster families have begun to make a huge difference in Marty's life. He follows his fostermom around the house, has begun to let her pick him up and even snuggles up next to her in bed at night!
Marty has a lot of catching up to do, a puppyhood to rediscover, and lots of new and comforting things to learn about.
