Winston is an 18month-old, 13 pound Havanese surrendered by his owner to a Shelter. He was in a very filthy matted condition with double ear infections but now he's all cleaned up and neutered. Underneath all the grime was this very handsome and personable boy!
Winston is very sweet and, of course, likes to be as close as possible to his fostermom, or anyone else that happens by. He shows his puppiness by trying to nibble on fingers but understands "NO" when told.
He walks fairly well on a leash - if he hears the word "walk" those ears of his perk right up and he waits with excitement to go, wiggling all over the place! Winston also loves to snuggle. He will jump right into your lap and keep you nice and warm.
He needs some work on house training and some simple obedience. He gets along well with the resident Havanese and hopes that his new family spots his perky ears soon!
Winston dislikes the company of cats. So he will need a feline free home.
