Rocky is just a bundle of love that is waiting for his family to fill out an application and bring him home.
He is a very good boy that wants to gain approval from all. Rocky will be your best friend, following you throughout your day and snuggling down with you at night. If you are willing to give Rocky the love and attention that he deserves, he will be the perfect companion for you.
He seems to like everyone; dogs, cats and older children, however, Rocky would not do well in a home with birds, he sometimes thinks he's a bird dog and wants to play with them.
Rocky was not neutered until he came into HRI so he seems to have a marking issue, but nothing that a belly band has not solved. Update: marking issue is diminishing. The foster mom believes that if you continue with the training it could stop. Please note that Havanese Rescue can not guarantee that he will ever stop 100%. However, Rocky wants to please his humans so much that training and positive reinforcement should do wonders in this department.
Rocky is being fostered in Minnesota. A donation will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended donation amount will be based on Rocky's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any. Complete the adoption application here. You will not be considered until we have a completed application.
