Babe is a 13 lb easy going bundle of Havanese love. This adorable Southern Belle is approximately 7 years old. Family circumstances resulted in her surrender, but it is obvious that this sweet little lady has been loved and well cared for.
She is mostly a golden champagne color with a little dark gray on her ears. Her previous owner kept her in a very short poodle cut but her silky hair is growing out and she just loves having you run your fingers through it. One of Babe’s most favorite pastimes is being brushed. She has a silky, wavy coat and as you brush her she’ll roll from side to side enjoying the ex
perience immensely. Babe loves to be held and will turn herself over in your arms to encourage belly rubs! In fact it seems at this point belly rubs and a lot of loving is pretty much all Babe wants! The only contradiction to that would be her love of anything that is edible! She even enjoyed the blueberries her foster mom was snacking on one day. Toss in some raw carrots and she’s in heaven.
Although Babe is a little shy in new situations, she has adjusted well in her foster home and loves attention from people. She has a laid back personality, is very calm, and housebroken. Babe will do well as the only dog or with perhaps one other dog. She’d probably enjoy a quiet home, making sure her forever home is willing to give her all the TLC she can get. She’d need a nice yard with a fence as well. It also was rumored she might do well in agility.Babe is a very good traveler.

he has ever seen! Some other items on Babe’s wish list in a forever home would be: no children under 12 years old, no cats, and someone home at least most of the day. A major wish is someone willing to give a lot of attention, a warm lap, and lots of kisses and belly rubs. Babe is the true proverbial loving Havanese. She seeks and craves love and attention, and will make an incredible companion for a family lucky enough to have her.
