With a snow white coat and a dab of cream coloring her back, feet and ears, 4 ½ year old Zorra makes for a very pretty Havanese. Weighing about 12 pounds, Zorra has an incredible spirit and lots of spunk. She is a very sweet and loving girl and wants nothing more than to be held, cuddled, and receive lots of ear scratches.
Zorra is crate trained and housebroken. She looks forward to as many walks as she can get. Zorra gets along well with her foster sisters and enjoys the company of other dogs. She likes nothing more than cuddling in a recliner with her foster family or snoozing on the back of a sofa.
She was rescued from a shelter almost blind with cataracts. HRI scooped her into safety; and now that her cataracts have been removed and she is able to see, a whole new life has opened for her. The freedom of having her sight has allowed her to investigate and take in many new things. Her foster family enjoys watching her slowly blossom into a wonderful companion.
Zorra is fairly shy and will need a family with lots of patience to help build her confidence and trust. The world is a little scary for her. Young children sometimes scare her, so a mature family or couple would be best; one that would love a cuddle-bug and a companion to snuggle with and give belly rubs. Another dog her size would be nice for her as well. With time, patience and a lot of love, Zorra will thrive.
