Remi is a cute little 11 pound bundle of love. Every doctor thinks that Remi is approximately 8 or 9 years old.
Remi is looking for a forever home that will make him their number one priority and give him all the love and attention that he deserves.
Remi has significant cataracts and has very little vision left. He has adjusted so well that his foster mom was surprised when she heard he had hardly any vision. Remi was ready to have his cataract surgery until he had his pre-op work done and it came back that Remi is in the early stages of kidney failure. He is now on special food, special medications, some great vitamins and he is doing fabulous. All of Remi's counts are now normal and have stabilized. We are hopeful that Remi will continue to do well and live a very full and fun few years.
As you can imagine, Remi needs a very special home with very special humans who are willing to give Remi the care and love that he deserves and that he desperately craves. He absolutely loves to be with his human, following them around and making sure that they are ready to give him love. Remi has 2 favorite things, to go for nice long walks and to cuddle with his human. You will never be lonely because Remi will always be there ready for love and cuddle time.
Remi needs to have someone that will be able to provide him with his special food, his medication and just make sure he is properly given all that he needs to be happy and healthy.
Remi is being fostered in NJ.
