Who am I? - I am a 7 pound Havanese Maltese Mix. My coat is as soft as a feather (which makes it matt easily) so I will need to be groomed often. I don't mind being groomed as long as you don't pull my hair. I love to cuddle and will insist upon sleeping either with you or very close to you.
I love other dogs though I am nervous at first. I love to run and play chase, mostly I love to chase. I am house broken and was trained to ring a bell to let you know I need to go out, but sometimes when I'm excited I "forget" how to do that.
I have a tendency to bark a lot but am learning the "quiet" command. I am truly a puppy and love to prance and play and chew lightly on your hand when you lie down or sit next to me. I love to play tug of war (gently).
I am a gentle alpha dog and want all of the attention you can give me. I would be best matched with a family who is home a lot of the time, and who is willing to walk me to get my energy out. I would love another dog I can play with who is not submissive. I love children so those would be OK to have too!
