Ellie is a very happy 7 month old Havanese who is simply a delight with all her antics. She dearly loves to play and run outside as fast as she can in the snow, and also has a merry time repeatedly tossing the kitty’s toys in the air. She is a very happy, sweet and snuggly girl so expect lots of kisses! Her tail wags continuously along with her entire body at the same time. Her foster mom says she has this very cute habit that when she’s being carried, her little paws move as if she’s walking or swimming.
Ellie loves everyone and everything: dogs, kitties, young children, men and women. She’s a smart little girl too, catching along quickly to routines and expectations. Housebreaking is a work in progress and her forever home will need to continue with lots of patience. She’s also learning simple commands as ‘up’ and ‘come’. Ellie is also trying to jump on furniture so she can be on a welcoming lap and also with the other dogs. She is learning to navigate stairs as well.
Ellie doesn’t like being alone and would like another dog to play with in her forever home, and someone at home at least most of the time. Her new family will need patience in helping her with crate training as well. At 7 months and 11 pounds, she has lots to learn. She is a good girl at the vet also, and will be having her spay very soon.
