Anyone looking for a lover and a snuggle-bug Havanese who gives lots of kisses, we think Maggie in St Louis is a perfect choice. She apparently had someone in her past that loved her very much as she craves attention and very much loves her humans. Maggie loves to snuggle on the sofa any time she can and of course her foster mom says she’s a very sweet girl.
She’s a young 6.5 years old and weighs about 19 pounds. Her coloring is a pretty grey and black. She is crate trained and house trained and will use pee pads if necessary. She follows her foster brothers and sisters outside, but not so much inside. Maggie prefers her humans and lots of attention. If her foster mom calls for one of her dogs, or she’s giving them attention, Maggie will quickly come up to see if she can have some too.
She’s a very calm dog and at this point doesn’t seem too interested in toys. Her foster mom says she really likes her treats, and is a very good girl.
Maggie is ready for her forever home. A quiet household would probably be best. She doesn’t seem to need another dog, as humans are her first choice. Her foster mom isn’t sure about cats as she hasn’t been around them. Maggie does well with her older son, and would be happiest with either no children, or older ones.
Maggie’s forever home will need to be committed in giving her lots of time and attention. At least one person home most of the day will be important, and definitely a home that wants a lap dog and a lover who gives lots of kisses. Maggie will be pretty picky in who she chooses, as she knows she’ll make a wonderful lifelong companion.
