Meet our boy, Friday! Don't you dare call him a "senior"! He might be around 9 years old, but he loves to play with all his foster siblings (and more than keeps up with them!).
Friday has become best friends with the resident Lab. Friday, also jumps up and down on his back legs to beg for a treat--usually a yummy chicken meatball, something he loves.
Friday is perfectly house trained and will even use a piddle pad if you have to be out of the house for expanded periods of time. He would love to sleep next to you in bed, but settles for sleeping in his bed next to his Foster Parents' bed.
Friday has an amazing spirit and is quite the lively little character! He can walk on two legs as well as four and is a very good dancer. He enjoys "treat time," even though his treats need to be soft and not hard and crunchy!
Friday is a love bug Havanese. A true lap dog and s small 9 lb package of love. After he goes out to potty in the morning he wants his Foster Dad to cuddle with him for a while. Being loved and treated nicely makes Friday a very happy boy. His foster mom describes him as a very agreeable and affectionate true-lap dog Havanese.
Friday has not been assessed around small children, but he has been taken to Petco to interact with other dogs and children and has done very well with both. He has not been around cats. Although Friday came from a puppy mill, he neither acts traumatized nor is he a fearful dog.
Friday has no known health problems. He is missing teeth so his Foster Mom softens his dry kibble with broth and Friday loves it like that. And, as we mentioned before, he loves and jumps up for the chicken meatballs!
Friday's foster mom says that he would do best in a home with a fenced yard so he can play to his heart's content. He is a bit camera shy and we are working on getting a few more photos of him, but in the meantime you'lll have to trust us, Friday is a handsome & adorable boy!
