Raleigh the love sponge, bounded his way effortlessly into his new foster home, after making friends with everyone he met along the way from North Carolina to Maryland. Five years old and very handsome, Raleigh has a thick black coat with a white patch and trim, and is sporting a longer puppy cut.
Raleigh has a wonderful temperament, follows his foster mother everywhere and loves to snuggle up next to her on the couch. He is housetrained and learning to use the doggy door with the other 
dogs in the foster home.
Raleigh loves to play ball and always brings it right back, looking for his person to throw it again. He will need to be taken to basic obedience class where he will quickly learn his doggie manners and how to walk properly on the leash. He is a super smart guy, a quick learner, wants to please and will absolutely make someone a wonderful companion.
Raleigh would probably love to be the center of attention in his new home as the only dog, but could also get along well with another dog. He will need regular exercise to help expend his energy and would be a great running or walking companion for an active family.
Raleigh is being fostered in Maryland.
