Desi - someone forgot to tell this sturdy 15-pound boy that he is almost 9 years old. Do you have a problem waking up? Desi is the guy to put a smile on your face. Just sit back, have a cup of coffee and watch this little dynamo play with all of the toys that he has spread around the room.
Desi will spin and twirl with joy while you prepare his breakfast then quietly eat while you both enjoy your meal.
Don’t get in Desi’s way when you say “out” because that is one of his favorite words. He bounces with joy then races to the door waiting for it to open. Once outside he knows exactly why he is there and quickly does his business. After that it is fun time to explore or just lay in the warm sun.
During the day Desi gets his exercise by following you around the house, a dog bed in each room would be on his wish list. If you have to leave for a few hours he is very content spending time in his crate waiting for your return. Want to take him with you, that’s no problem because Desi likes riding in cars.
The day is winding down and so is Desi. He would just love to snuggle next to you while you watch television or read a book. Warning: If you hold him he will give you kisses. Bedtime finds him in his crate waiting for a treat and he dreams of finding his very own forever home.
Desi gets along well with children and other small dogs; he’s the whole package!
