A sad update: 
I have sad news about my granddog Max. He was adopted by my daughter August 16, 2008 through HRI.
He was diagnosed a few months ago with inoperable nasal carcinoma and was doing chemo. He lost his battle today and we are all heartbroken ? He would have been 14 in November. RIP sweet Max ?
Max in Florida
Max is a delightful boy, approximately 2 1/2 years old. He was surrendered with a report of not being house trained, but he's done beautifully while in foster care. Max in Florida
Max is small, weighing about 10 pounds. He's been eating well in foster care and will likely pick up just a little more weight.
UPDATE - Max has been adopted and is now happily living in Georgia.
Max gets along with other dogs and loves people. He's been a charming house guest with his foster family. You can see him here, hanging out with "the boys" by the pool in his first foster home. 
Max will be an ideal companion for a family with time to enjoy this little guys endearing personality and Havanese charm.
He is being fostered in Florida.
