Barbara Ann is such a beauty! This 1 1/2 year old Havanese has beautiful markings and coloring. She weighs about 17 pounds. Barbara Ann, who came from a puppy mill, is learning all about life in the real world. She's found that people truly are kind and loving, and that laps are a great place to lie when you're sleepy.
She has come a very long way and continues to gain confidence as time passes. Her new family will need to be patient and loving, helping her as she continues her journey.
Barbara Ann is somewhat quiet in the house and prefers females but is beginning to gain confidence around men. She likes attention, being picked up and snuggling close when given the opportunity.
Barbara Ann is house trained. In her first foster home, she learned to use the doggy door to go outside. Now she goes to the door and circles to get your attention that she wants to go out. What a good girl!
Barbara Ann has recently become interested in toys. She also loves chewies like bully sticks. She LOVES running in her yard (weather permitting). A fenced yard is on her "wish list" with her forever family. She would do best with a somewhat quiet household. She enjoys other dogs and would be best with adults and only occasional visits from children. (She just enjoys the quiet and relative calm of an adult family.)
Barbara Ann recently began playing with the other dogs in her foster family. She'd like a canine companion in her new family but may be fine as an only dog also, if someone is home during the day to keep her company!
Barbara Ann is being fostered in OH.
