Marisol is an adorable little girl who enjoys long walks and adventures with her people. She loves her elevated car seat and is well behaved on a leash - an easy companion. Marisol is observant and when she sees a dog or a squirrel walk by her eyes will follow along and her ears will sit up, but she stays calm and quiet.
When not out and about in the neighborhood, Marisol's favorite place to be is on a lap. If a lap is not available, she will snuggle up next to you or at your feet.
Marisol likes dogs, men, women and children over 10. She has yet to encounter younger children or cats, so we are unsure how she would interact with them.
Marisol is only moderately active so would do well living in an apartment.
Marisol is not a fan of crates; they make her anxious since her previous owner never used one. She has had a couple of accidents in the house, but we are still trying to figure out her communication and schedule. She is usually very good about doing her business outside.
Marisol has anal cancer and will be evaluated by a vet to determine a plan for her care.
Marisol is being fostered in Maryland.
A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any.
