Female
10 months old
5 pounds
Needs work on house, leash and crate training
Playful and affectionate
Luna is a goofy and very sweet little pup. She loves to play and is not stingy with her kisses. She would happily snuggle with her humans all day long, and belly rubs are always welcome!
Luna's favorite game is tug of war, but if no one is around to play with she will entertain herself with her toys. Luna likes other dogs and humans over 10 years old. She has yet to encounter smaller children or cats while in our care.
Luna is a true puppy so she still needs work on training – particularly house training. She is very eager to please so with patience and consistency there is no reason to think she will not master the art of going outside to do her business.
Luna has had recurrent UTIs/bladder infections, but recently had surgery to correct bilateral ectopic ureters. It appears that the surgery was successful, as she is no longer showing signs of incontinence/urinary leaking. However, the vet indicated that, as with any surgery, there is a risk of complications in the future. Additionally, because of the months of leaking, Luna's back legs are tinted yellow, and it is unclear whether that will go away.
Luna is currently being fostered in Florida.
