Fiona loves to be petted and has the softest coat. Her foster mom says it puts both the dog and the one petting to sleep. Fiona is very sweet and loves to have you throw her toys and then brings them back to you. She is about 10 lbs, and will sit for a treat which she loves. One of her favorite things is to go outside and sniff around. She likes to have a human with her outside to keep her company while she explores.
Fiona is house trained and has learned to use the doggie door. She is very curious and learns quickly from her Havanese housemates. She follows her foster mom everywhere she goes in the house. Fiona would be most happy if someone was home most of the time. 
Fiona is fearful of strangers and does not like them to approach her. She prefers to be the one to approach. She might be afraid of children if they are loud and move quickly. She really likes the quiet home.
She has recently been spayed and is doing well. This young girl is now ready for her forever home, and all she asks is for a warm lap and lots of cuddles and kisses. And lots of treats.
Fiona was surrendered by a family that felt they couldn’t give her all the time and attention she deserved. She is about 1 and 1/2 old years old. 
Her wish list in a forever home would be:
•Someone home most of the day
•Fenced yard to play
•Children over the age of 12 okay
• Lots of treats and love
