RIP sweet Lizzie. Run free at the Rainbow Bridge.
Lizzie is a darling thirteen-year-old Havanese new to foster care. This sweet gal is very calm, even when the other dogs in her foster home start barking.
Lizzie loves both men and women. She’s happiest when she can sit next to someone on the sofa. She enjoys playing for a few minutes at a time, and then is ready to snuggle again. She is crate trained, which is where she spends her overnight hours. She may have been house trained, but because she’s new to foster care, it’s easiest right now to have her in doggie panties. She does well traveling, even on the very windy mountain roads around her new foster home.
Lizzie has a few health issues which are being explored. A dental cleaning will be scheduled for her soon. She also has limited eye sight.
We’ll share more about adorable Lizzie when we get to know her better.
Lizzie is being fostered in North Carolina.
If you're already smitten, feel free to complete an application, however, please be aware than our dogs must be in their foster homes for a minimum of two weeks for evaluation. This is for their benefit, and yours, to help ensure a successful placement in a permanent home.
A fee will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended fee amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any. A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
