Ruby isn't your ordinary Havanese, she's extra-ordinary! She was a breeder dog in a puppy mill for her first four years of life but is now very happy to be learning about life in a safe and quiet home. She enjoys watching TV, snuggling in bed, running in the grass with her foster siblings, and laying out on the deck in the sunshine.
Ruby is amazingly smart and wants to be part of whatever is going on in the house. She loves all other dogs and loves playing with her foster brothers and sisters. Because she enjoys that so much, it would be nice if she could go to a home with another dog for her to play with. She is still a bit shy but very gentle, sweet and loving and easily takes any treats you may offer her. She has the most unusual beautiful silvery coat with a white muzzle and ruby red slippers on her feet. Now she is saying, "There's no place like a forever home, no place like a forever home!". Ruby is as gentle and as sweet as can be and she is hoping there is someone just as gentle out there looking to show her how beautiful the world can be. Ruby is being fostered in Nebraska, but loves riding in the car and is willing to relocate.
