From Ferg's loving mom:
"My last moments with Ferg. He passed away at age 16 on Monday after a short, fast decline into heart failure. It was peaceful.
He was amazing from the day I adopted him at age 9 in 2011 until this last hug on February 12th, 2018. He made me laugh every single day and knowing him, loving him, and caring for him over the last 7 years has taught me a lot about the kind of person I want to be.
He was full of energy when he came home and he went everywhere with me over the years. His favorite spot was next to me in the car. As time went on he slowed down and when he couldn’t walk very far due to arthritis he’d travel with me inside his backpack. He was a grumpy little guy but the sweetest old man I’ve ever met.
Goodnight Little Man. You will always be my best best friend, wagging your tail inside my heart. ? "
