Lyla is a "puppy mill" angel, who started out shy and timid, worked very hard at fitting into living with a real family and succeeded in a huge, happy way! Now she comes running to be picked up so she can be cuddled tight and loves snuggling into your lap. She is an itty bit of a sweetheart, weighs around 9 lbs. and is 5 yrs. old.
Lyla has now learned appropriate social behaviors from the resident dogs, and really enjoys playing with them, even occasionally joining in on the Havie Run-Like-Hecks through the house. She sleeps in bed with everyone at night and follows her foster dad around the house when he is home. 
Lyla loves going for long walks, but hold on tight if she spots a rabbit, squirrel or bird! She loves to talk (bark) but not so much that it is annoying. It shows that her confidence has begun surfacing and she knows that she has earned a voice in this world, the one outside of puppy mills.
Lyla is a very special little angel and will make the right family feel very blessed to have her in their lives.

A donation will be requested to adopt this dog. The recommended donation amount will be based on the dog's age, and medical and behavioral issues, if any. A completed application is required if you are interested in adoption.
